YOUTH SPEAKS PRESENTS:: BRAVE NEW VOICES POETRY SLAM FESTIVAL IN CHICAGO
More than 900 teenage poets, representing 50 cities and towns across
the United States will participate in the internationally renowned,
12th Annual Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Slam Fest
presented by Youth Speaks Inc. in partnership with Columbia College
and Young Chicago Authors. This event is an opportunity for young
writers and free thinkers to celebrate themselves, their stories and
their voices.

VIP participants throughout the week include Common, Beau Sia, Kevin
Covall, Marc Bamuthi Joseph, The Cool Kids, and Lemon Anderson to name
a few.


WHEN/WHERE: Tuesday, July 14th ? Sunday, July 19th (entire festival)

Wednesday, July 15th

*Festival passes are strongly suggested and allow entry and seating
